ACT Construction is a general contracting company founded in 1987 and based in Lewisville, Texas. The founder and CEO, Joe Murray, used the names of his three children, Amy, Christopher, and Tonya to establish the company name.
Originally, ACT started out by completing residential remodel projects in the Dallas – Fort Worth area. Soon, various local commercial construction opportunities began to shift the company’s direction. By 1995, a full transition was made to commercial construction with projects spanning the contiguous United States. Since then, the company has worked with over 150 concepts and completed over 4,500 projects for both corporate and franchise clients. In 2014, a second office location was opened in Franksville, Wisconsin. Today, ACT continues to specialize in retail and commercial building projects nationwide.

Special project opportunities contribute to our extensive experience
In the early 2000s, ACT completed two separate projects for the home makeover television show Renovate My Family. We also constructed the homestead for PBS’ production of Texas Ranch House. Not only did these experiences provide us with extraordinary memories but also unique chances to expand our knowledge in the construction industry.
